About Jay :

My wife, Caralee, and I both made aliyah from the US (from California and Florida). We live in Eli with our 4 girls, thank G-d. I work as a systems/spaceflight engineer and my wife works as a high school math teacher.
I was very happy to run last year's Jerusalem half marathon in support of ConnectionsIsrael. Since then I ran the Beit Shaan half marathon and the Tiberias Marathon.
My friends Harel and Asher and I have been running up and down the beautiful Shomron Mountains near Eli. Special thanks for the work of the Eisler store in Jerusalem http://eisler.dsites.co.il , whose great shoe inserts made it possible for me to run.

About Sderot:

The citizens of the southern Israel city of Sderot have been for too long the victims of the Palestinian missile attacks, cruelly aimed at their houses and schools. It is the responsibility of each of us to help the many victims of this terror and to lend a hand to the people who continue to pay the price of the attacks. We all must do what we can to support Israel in its fights against the terrorists.
I wish the many brave IDF soldiers success and safety in all of their missions. I look forward to seeing the members of some of the fittest IDF units at the Jerusalem race and running with them.
